Australian Shepherd: crate, bed and harness size
AKC weight: 40-65 pounds (AKC Breed Weight Chart). The Australian Shepherd is #14 in AKC's 2025 ranking (AKC).
Crate: 42" crate (MidWest iCrate Dog Crate Size Guide (manufacturer PDF)) By weight alone the top of the AKC range fits a 36" crate, but MidWest's size guide lists the Australian Shepherd under its 42" crate, so this page goes up to match.
Bed: Medium rectangle bed (36 x 24 in) (Orvis Dog Product Sizing Guide (Rectangle bed))
Harness: Measure your dog's chest girth, then check the Ruffwear girth chart. No breed standard lists girth.
